Riju Khanra - From Graduate Dreams to Leading with Strength – My Journey
Published on September 06, 2025
My name is Riju Kianra. When I completed my graduation, I carried big dreams but very little direction. Like many young graduates, I stepped into the professional world full of hope, but reality was tougher than I expected. My journey with Neverno began at a junior level, where I had to learn everything from the ground up. There were days of physical exhaustion, moments of self-doubt, and times when balancing family responsibilities with work felt overwhelming.
Housekeeping is often misunderstood. People see cleanliness, but they don’t see the discipline, coordination, and constant effort behind it. In the early years, I handled difficult shifts, managed tight deadlines, and faced challenges that tested my patience and strength. There were painful moments — financial pressures, personal sacrifices, and long hours — but I chose not to give up.
Over the last eight years, Neverno became more than my workplace. It became my training ground and my support system. Seniors guided me, corrected me, and trusted me with responsibilities that helped me grow. Slowly, I learned leadership — not from books, but from experience. I learned how to handle teams, resolve conflicts, maintain standards, and motivate others even during tough times.
Today, I stand proudly as a Housekeeping Supervisor. When I look at my team, I see reflections of my younger self — hardworking, learning, and striving. My journey has not been easy, but it has been meaningful. Every struggle shaped my resilience. Every painful moment strengthened my determination.
Eight years later, I can say with pride that I did not just build a career — I built character. And my journey continues, stronger and more grateful than ever.
